Addressable systems

The most advanced and efficient systems are addressable fire alarms as they provide you with the most accurate information and the precise location of where the fire is. Not only that, but with an addressable system if there was an issue with the loop, the system would continue to run and detect fires (this is entirely dependant on the fault and fault location). This is the most ideal solution for medium to large businesses as you can have more devices per loop, network panels on a large site and allow for enhanced monitoring on the site.

Our systems can integrate with 3rd party appliances on site to provide switching on vital systems, these can include access control doors on a fire exit, fans or BMS systems in commercial premises.

We can provide installation, maintenance and commissioning of all addressable systems, our engineers are trained to industry standard and have enhanced qualifications for working on life safety systems.

Conventional systems

A cheaper alternative to addressable systems is a conventional fire alarm. This works on a radial circuit basis and not a loop as per the addressable. All devices are run one after the other on a circuit with sounders being installed in their own circuit, they then use an end of line resistor to monitor the circuit. This is an excellent solution for larger style homes and small businesses that do not have large premises.
